Edutainment is not something new but the response to what is believed to be the first such live event in Malaysia was nothing short of spectacular.
With big name local celebrities gracing the event, the 500-strong crowd was exposed to a high-octane dose of entertainment and education all under one event called “Zero 2 Hero”.
Combining talks by successful entrepreneurs and a mini concert by well-known entertainers, the two-day event saw seven experienced speakers from different fields relating their journey from ‘zero to hero’.
Held on 22 & 23 November 2018 at PICC, the event showcased some of Malaysia’s famous personalities such as property guru Dato’ Sri Gavin Tee, celebrity Desmond Liew, Feng Shui consultant Master Sandy Paw, entrepreneur Charmaine Phang, Celebrity-Entrepreneur Chui Ling, Founder of Thousand People’s Congress Raechel Chong, and international Chinese singer Sky Wu, amongst others.
Describing the debut event as ‘The first ever Celebrity-Entrepreneur Talk’, the CEO of Seven24 Event Specialist Sdn Bhd, Sally Phua, said it took months of planning and preparation to ensure its success. Seven24 Event Specialist co-organised the event together with EverVenture Global Sdn Bhd.
The CEO of EverVenture Global Sdn Bhd, Jeffery Yap, further said that the purpose of the event was not only to provide the public with sound educational information in an entertaining environment but also to facilitate philanthropic activities.
