YONG TAI, KOF HLDGS TO JOINTLY DEVELOP U-THANT CONDO
Tourism and cultural property developer Yong Tai Berhad will jointly develop a high-end low-density condominium Impression U-Thant together with KOF Holdings Sdn Bhd and RISDA Berhad.
Impression U-Thant, which later will be officially known as “Residensi Mutiara U-Thant”, will be Yong Tai’s maiden high-end development bearing its signature Impression trademark amid the lush greenery.
With an estimated gross development value (GDV) of about RM200 mil, the 1.2-acre freehold project comprises a 10-storey condominium.
There are six different types of layout occupying built-ups of between 782 sq ft and 1,632 sq ft. Prices for the 108 units start from RM1.3 mil.
Yong Tai’s Chief Executive Officer Datuk Wira Boo Kuang Loon said there is a growing trend of higher-end buyers who appreciate living within a low-density green enclave while at the same time seeking the exclusivity.
Impression U-Thant features innovative architectural designs, dual-key features and amenities and is expected to be completed by 2021.
The development is strategically located along Jalan U-Thant overlooking the Royal Selangor Golf Club and is near the Embassy Row. It is well connected to major city roads such as Jalan Tun Razak.
The recent Groundbreaking Ceremony at the site was officiated by Her Royal Highness Sultanah of Pahang, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom who was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Fahad Mua’adzam Shah Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah as the Chairman of KOF Holdings Sdn Bhd. Also present at the event were the Chairman of Yong Tai Berhad Dato’ Indera Syed Norulzaman Syed Kamarulzaman; Deputy Director General of RISDA Abdullah Bin Zainal and the Director of City Planning Department DBKL Sulaiman bin Mohamad representing The Mayor of Kuala Lumpur.
