To usher in the New Year/New Decade, Visit Johor 2020 organised a celebration on 31 December that started at 5pm and stretched beyond 12:30 am the next day. Dato’ Dr Sahruddin Jamal, Menteri Besar of Johor was the VIP guest of honour at this event which marked a collaboration between Tourism Johor with UEM Sunrise. This event also served to kickstart the plans Tourism Johor has outlined for 2020 in terms of its programme line-ups and major destination highlights planned for Visit Malaysia 2020. Guests and members of the media revelled in various entertainment activities and lucky draw ending with a grand countdown into the new year/decade.
