Tropicana Gardens Mall, a subsidiary of Tropicana Corporation Berhad, teamed up with the group’s charity arm to give back to society, Tropicana Foundation extended their support to frontliners – particularly food delivery riders by distributing a total of 1,000 packs of bubur lambuk over 20 days during the Ramadhan cycle ranging from April 23 to May 12, 2021. The delicious delicacy was specially prepared by the Executive Chef of Tropicana Golf & Country Resort who cooked the comfort food as a way of expressing gratitude to the frontliners for their hard work and dedication.
Andrew Ashvin, Managing Director of Tropicana Gardens Mall commended the giveaway initiative as he and his team members personally handed out the food packs at the curbside, concourse floor drop-off area of Tropicana Gardens Mall.

To date, we have recorded a 68% take-up rate and we are so thankful for netting support from our tenants, shoppers and the unsung heroes – the food delivery riders who wait patiently at the front of our mall, to deliver or pick up food — many of whom are unable to balik kampung as the interstate movement restrictions are still in effect.
This gesture he says, was to cheer them on and give them a little taste of kampung cheer with its signature Tropicana bubur lambuk.
