TREND TOWARDS MORE HUMAN-CENTRIC DESIGN

Up-and-coming Malaysian design consultancy, Metrics Global,
believes design should be centred on human needs.

Metrics Global, a Malaysian design consultancy has been on a winning streak for the past few years, picking up numerous interior design awards, among them “Excellence of the Year Real Estate Interior Design, Malaysia” under the Real Estate Industry category of the award summit at the 40th Le Fonti Awards Gala and CEO Summit.

“Design is made to fit human use and will be more practical,” he observes. Essentially, it’s a process that starts with the people you’re designing for and ends with new solutions that are tailor made to suit their needs. Among the interior designs that he’s proud of are the ones his firm did in Puteri Cove Residence & Quayside located at Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Malaysia. Developed by Singaporean developers Pacific Star Development Limited and DB2 Land, the development has won awards for ‘Best Residential Interior Design” and “Best Luxury Condominium Development in Malaysia”.
Some of the designs done by Metrics Global for Puteri Cove can be seen here.
