In an interview with Asian Property Review, David Nguyen, Managing Director, Indochina and Strategic Partnerships, South East Asia & Pacific, Radisson Hotel Group, expresses his optimism for Thailand’s tourism industry.

1.Why is the Thai tourism industry not recovering as fast as expected?

The Thai tourism industry is recovering well and at a steady pace. From June to July 2022, tourist arrivals increased approximately 46% to about l. lmillion. Further, according to the local government, the nation is expecting to attract a total of 10 million tourists by the end of the year – an optimistic outlook.

Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has made a long-term commitment to the Thai market, and we are optimistic about the outlook for the rebound of tourism over the coming months.
