YOUR TENANCY CONTRACT IS JUST A CLICK AWAY

Lesys Tenancy mobile app is believed to be the first app that can generate terms and conditions of a tenancy agreement and even answer queries on tenancy matters while LeSys Property app will provide a total solution for conveyancing.

Gone are the days when it takes a few days to get your Tenancy Agreement prepared and stamped. With the newly launched Lesys Tenancy App, you can get it ready even within a few hours!

“This is the first Tenancy Robot in Malaysia helping the property industry generate the terms and conditions in a Tenancy Agreement. Lesys is even able to answer questions on tenancy matters within minutes!” says Vincent Heng, Director of LePro System Berhad, the developer of the app.

LeSys Tenancy app is a mobile app that can assist real estate agents, landlords and tenants to prepare tenancy agreements. Features include E-sign, E-stamp, and the newly-launched “Nancy”, an assistive Artificial Intelligent robot which can assist in coming up with clauses for the tenancy agreement as well as answering queries on tenancy matters.

“Nancy will be available in two languages to accommodate the Malaysian and ASEAN market needs in the future,” says Heng.

The rollout is expected to be end of this year or early next year but will be limited initially to real estate agents and related professions, he adds.[ihc-hide-content ihc_mb_type=”show” ihc_mb_who=”1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8″ ihc_mb_template=”1″ ]

The company has several qualified panel lawyers providing the content for the app. These lawyers have vast experience in conveyancing and property matters.

LePro has positioned itself as a disruptive legal technology provider in the real estate industry. Currently, it has two products, “LeSys Tenancy” and “LeSys Property”.

‘ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENT’ LEGAL SERVICES

The LeSys Property mobile app serves every party in the conveyancing chain, from developer to property buyers, sellers and real estate agents. The system offers a total solution providing real-time status update, E-storage, logistic services and a transparent Standard Operating Procedure.

“Property investors like me always find it troublesome to maintain a full set of legal documents of all my investments. With LeSys Property app, I am able to extract the legal documents with just a few clicks on my smartphone,” says Heng.

Saying these new developments are game-changing for the property industry, Elizabeth Siew, Founder of Messrs Elizabeth Siew & Co, is confident that the apps will prove popular as it saves a lot of time

and hassle. “It also helps to prevent fraud especially in cases where documents are lost, for example, documents of title or original sale and purchase agreements (where the title has not been issued yet), as everything can be stored on ‘cloud’ and can be easily retrieved.”

It saves the clients the hassle of calling or visiting the lawyer’s office as they can easily track the status of their cases via the app. This allows the legal staff to focus more of their time on finishing the pending work, adds Siew.

Like it or not, change is imminent as the digital era (including AI and robots) sweeps across industries and as demand increases for speedy services.

In the US, it has been predicted that there will be 90% fewer lawyers in the future with only specialists remaining due to IBM’s Watson.

Watson is a question answering computer system which can answer questions posed in the natural language. It can be used to do legal research and answer basic legal queries within seconds-with 90% accuracy. It can process an astonishing 500 gigabytes, the equivalent of a million books, per second.

Going forward, it remains to be seen how much of technology the conservative legal profession is willing to embrace.[/ihc-hide-content]
