Orbix International School opens the first school in Batu Pahat to offer the Cambridge International A Level Programme & AI syllabus
Orbix International School in Batu Pahat will be the first school in the area to offer the Cambridge International A Level Programme curriculum recognised by universities worldwide. The campus in Batu Pahat is one of three campuses from Orbix Education Group.
The school will also be offering a partial scholarship for exceptional students who scored a minimum of 8 A’s for SPM (50% of school fees) while those with 10 A’s and above with an excellent co-curricular record can apply for a full scholarship.
The school’s inaugural intake for the A Level programme will be in January 2021. The school also offer lessons in Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all campuses as an extracurricular activity conducted at AI Academy, an associate company of the group. This comprehensive syllabus was devised in collaboration with iFLYTEK—a Chinese giant in the field of AI. The first school of its kind in South East Asia, it will teach children aged six and above about coding, programming, natural language processing, big data analysis, etc.
Laboratories at AI Academy with state-of-the-art equipment with robots will enhance students’ learning. The advanced technology will also provide feedback to teachers.
