One of the best welcomes in any hotel anywhere in the world – Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu does not hold back when rolling out the red carpet for its guests. Upon arriving at the hotel in a very comfortable ride from the airport, we were garlanded with frangipanis and put on with a unique headgear, a beautifully crafted hat which is the Balinese traditional headgear.
Many of the staff were waiting with the warmest smile and you get the feeling that you are going to be treated like royalty in the next few days.
More surprises await in the suite – delightful welcome platter, fruits and a wine bottle complete with a ‘Mr Bali’ greeting, folded exquisitely in white towel. And that’s not all – on the bed was a flower petal arrangement that shouts out: “Welcome to Bali” greeting. All these make you feel like you should have come on your honeymoon! Because that’s how special the experience was.
