Hong Kong’s Canto-Pop Superstars Stage Online Free Concerts @Harbour City Ocean Terminal Deck During Worldwide Lockdown

Canto-pop legend Sam Hui Koon-kit and Dancing King Aaron Kwok Fu-shing cheered Hong Kong and the world – encouraging everyone to remain united and positive as the Corona Virus pandemic had everyone in lockdown globally by performing and broadcasting their performances via free online concerts on April 12 and May 9, 2020 at the Ocean Terminal Deck, Harbour City. The concert – staged against the backdrop of the incredible Victoria Harbour skyline surrounded by the sea showcased a 270-degree panoramic view of the harbour, breathtaking views of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon with the stars performing for a captive online audience.

Fully supported by Harbour City, the YouTube channel HiEggo organised “2020 Sam Hui In The Same Boat Online Concert”, while Aaron Kwok Love and Concern International Charity Fund Limited, and YouTube channel HiEggo jointly organised Aaron Kwok “Cheer Up & Dance Online Charity Concert 2020”. The organisers shared that Sam Hui held his first live stream concert which was broadcasted for free over YouTube and Facebook, attracting around 2 million viewers (including Sam Hui’s Facebook and HiEggo Facebook) while YouTube channel HiEggo attracted 550,000 viewers. The viewership of Aaron Kwok’s live-streamed concert hit around 14 million viewers, screened over 90 channels via the live broadcast worldwide while the concert attracted 3 million Facebook streaming viewers globally with over 2.5 million viewers on the YouTube channel HiEggo.
