Investment secrets to be revealed on reality show

First-of its-kind Chinese property investment reality TV show “Anyone Can Be A Property Millionaire” which kicked-off with a search of 8 “Property Millionaire Stars” July this year has created a great impact & became a hot topic in town. For the past 4 months, there were hundreds of participants going through the primary and secondary selection process. Factors such as how participants express themselves, financial capability, assessment test results, and a simple self-introduction were taken into consideration.

Out of hundreds, 15 were shortlisted – they are Cheang Pui Tze, Lim Teck Fung, Ng Wee Kwong, Michele Chew Li Eng, Kenneth Lee, Lim Yee Chun, Jimmy Yim Zhi Ming, Hong Onn, Lim Kai Ying, Li Chen Huan (from China), Sam Huang (from Taiwan), Tan Wee Peng, Tan Guat Ha, Danny Tan Kean Hau and Christy Lee Chew Yan.

The 15 then attended a two-day property investment

training course conducted by Dato’ Sri Gavin Tee. Held at the Swhengtee Club on 12 & 13 November, the main objective of this training course was to enhance the participants’ knowledge & understanding towards property investment. The course outline included investment options, portfolio management, rental management, selling property skills, property evaluation skills in order to lower investment risk, investment skills and negotiation strategies. Tee believes the two-day training would help the participants to succeed in property investing in future.

Throughout the training course, Tee personally guided the participants to have a clearer picture and understanding of property investment techniques. During the training process, Tee shared his 20 years of invaluable investment experience. market while focusing more on relatively stable investments such as real estate.

One of the highlights of the training course was an introduction session by each participant who had to introduce themselves and share their own “real estate” story. The two-day training course was a “warm-up” for the participants before shooting of the reality TV show begins.

In the weeks ahead, out of the 15 shortlisted candidates, 5 would be selected under 5 categories namely “Young Graduate”, “Professional”, “Foreigner”, “Retiree” and “Disabled”. Meanwhile, the finalists of special categories – “Celebrity”, “Real Estate Expert” & “Businessman” are expected to be announced end 2016.

The “Anyone can be a Property Millionaire” Reality TV show is co-produced by Asian Property Review and Real Estate Malaysia magazines.
