Sg. Besi Construction Sdn Bhd recently officiated its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with its prospective retail tenants and business owners for its food and beverage (F&B); corporate offices, hotel, medicare, pre-school and supermarket at The Glenz – an integrated lifestyle project which represents the first transit-oriented development (TOD) in Glenmarie.
These F&B tenants include Union Artisan Coffee; Fei Fan Hotpot; Ying Ker Luo Hakka Cuisine; Gajah Mada which serves Indonesia fare; Japanese dessert chain Fuwagori, Maruki Ramen Tokyo and Oliver Gourmet – the supermarket chain besides Q Bistro and Boozeat bar.
Meanwhile, Jungle House as well as the preschool and day-care centre, Mont Trinity, will also add value to the development. Other eye-openers include the first in Malaysia WeGlam beauty hub that will occupy 10,000 sq ft of built-up area with an event space, private studios and meeting rooms complemented by a beauty and hairdresser area as well as manicure and pedicure space; Helix Healthcare and The Kensington Business Hotel.
That’s not forgetting VMO – an exclusive event booking platform partner as well as Jiangsu Suzhong Construction Group Co., Ltd – a Chinese private international contractor which is ranked among China’s top 500 companies with a total workforce of 49,270 employees there and an annual revenue of approximately RMB 60 billion (RM35.04 billion) which are among its major tenants.
Also among the office tenants who signed up en bloc floors include the Vestland Group, Armani Group and KPR Group.
The F&B tenant mix will be spread across the retail space while Oliver Gourmet, a fast emerging premium brand, renowned for its fresh meats and cook-to-order menus will occupy the anchor space spanning over 12,614 sq ft on the ground level.
