MRCA’s 27th Anniversary gala dinner was attended by more than 1,100 guests comprising business leaders, benefactors and mentors. The Guest of Honour was Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof, Minister of Entrepreneur Development.
MRCA President Datuk Seri Garry Chua welcomed guests and credited MRCA’s robust progress – having grown from a humble association led by visionary retail leaders to become a progressive and highly influential force in the retail industry. “It provides a platform for members to share their knowledge and experiences, thus supporting one another and the growth of the industry,” he shares.
Today, the MRCA has an all-time record of more than 530 members who have expanded locally and internationally and are competing with international brands. With such a strong organisation of leading franchise and retail store operators covering more than 30,000 outlets throughout Malaysia, these members provide over 150,000 job opportunities to Malaysians across the country.
